Acetaminophen: The Facts

Compound can alleviate minor muscle, back, tooth, and joint pain along with reduce fever. Acetaminophen is sold under the names of Tylenol, Liquiprin, and Panadol. The way acetaminophen works is by regulating the body’s temperature and stops the productions of prostaglandin in the central nervous system. Generally, if people cannot take aspirin they take acetaminophen to prevent hurting the stomach and it does not ease inflammation. Individuals with liver disease should avoid acetaminophen. Individuals that take too much acetaminophen can experience rashes, liver failure, and even death. There needs to be caution in taking acetaminophen because it is used with other drugs.
